October Artifact #5 High School Visit Mentor Interview Concerning Ethics

On October the 3rd I sat down with my Assit. Principal/Mentor and asked him a series of Ethical Questions concerning education. Listed below are a copy of the questions that were discussed. You will also find an attached video of the interview.

Ethic Questions:

1. Who makes the report? Who all are involved? Does that answer change if the abuse is physical, sexual, or verbal?

2. What is the confidentiality policy regarding student use of alcohol or drug use on and off campus?

3. What is the school's plan for crisis, such as a student or teacher death? Does the school communicate what happened to students, faculty and parents and if so how?

4. What is the school's specific policy regarding bullying?

5. What is the policy regarding reporting students who lie, cheat or steal at school?

6. What is the policy regarding student cell phone use, text messages, pictures, audio or video recordings?

7. What if any is the policy regarding instant gram, snap chat or any other social networking sites?

8. What is the policy or procedure if numerous student/parents complain about a specific teacher's behavior?
