Artifact #5 911 Program 2018 GA State Teacher of the Year

Lt. Colonel John R. Tibbitts of Tifton GA, 2018 Georgia State Teacher of the Year, was a guest speaker today. Lt. Colonel Tibbitts served our great country for 21 years in the Army and was working at the Pentagon during the 911 attacks. After he retired he became an Economics teacher and has spent the last 10 years in the classroom.

He is married with two grown sons. Thanks for taking time to speak with our students and a HUGE thanks for serving our great country. Also thanks to Tammy Holton for organizing this event.
